IMAQ Journal is an international, multidisciplinary, open access scholarly journal committed to advancing high-quality research across scientific, technological, and social science domains. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical standards, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Our mission is to promote global research visibility, support emerging and established researchers, and ensure that all published work meets rigorous academic and ethical standards.
Editorial Process (Peer Review)
IMAQ Journal follows a structured and transparent review system to maintain high academic quality.
1. Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an internal evaluation for:
-
Scope relevance
-
Originality and academic significance
-
Ethical compliance
-
Plagiarism detection
-
Basic formatting and completeness
Manuscripts that fail this stage may be returned to authors or rejected.
2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass screening enter single-blind peer review, where reviewers know the authors’ identities but authors do not know reviewers’ identities.
The journal uses:
-
Editorial peer review
-
External subject-expert peer review
In some cases, authors may be invited to suggest potential reviewers; however, the editorial team reserves the right to choose reviewers independently.
3. Decision Process
Final decisions—acceptance, revision, or rejection—are made based on:
-
Reviewer reports
-
Editorial evaluation
-
Ethical considerations
-
Journal priorities
All accepted articles undergo language, formatting, and metadata editing before publication.
