State Regulations on the Innovation Activity in the Engineering Industry: Development of Domestic Machine-building Capacity

Development of the domestic machine-building capacity for any state indicates the technological development for a sustainable economic development. This article defines the main directions of state regulation for the development of the machine-building complex and increasing its competitiveness in Azerbaijan. Among the priority measures supporting the innovative development of Azerbaijan are to stimulate research development and determine the problems that cause the technological backwardness of Azerbaijan’s engineering industry. It also have been concluded that what basic regulations were implemented in developed economies to boost their domestic machine building capacity.
